Women's World Cup: An historic achievement for Portugal
The Portuguese women's national football team achieved an unprecedented feat: Portugal is, for the first time, in a Women's World Cup. The team led by Francisco Neto achieved this goal after a victory against Cameroon (2-1) in Hamilton, NewZealand. With the result obtained in what was the final of Group A of the Intercontinental Playoff, the Portuguese athletes joined Group E, composed of the Netherlands, Vietnam, and the United States, with whom they will play on July 23rd,July 27th, and August 1st, respectively.
Patrícia Morais (goalkeeper), Ana Borges (forward), Ana Capeta (forward), and Andreia Norton (midfielder), represented by Best Sports, will wear the colors of Portugal and be present in one of the most important competitions in the world of football.
